In celebration of ‘Ms Bân has arrived’ in March 22nd evening, Á delightfully invited Taiwanese artist-curator Chiang Yuan Hsiang and performance artists Đặng Thuỳ Anh and Vũ Đức Toàn to conduct a performance workshop for young artists Nguyễn Đỗ Đức Minh, Quang Quang, Việt Hoàng, THAORS, Thảo Bùi, Trà Giang, Thạch Minh Hiếu, Dung Đoàn. This occurence is the side event of Potestas Collective from Taiwan, presented in Vietnam during MEANDER MAPS: HANOI.

Yuan Hsiang set the prompt for the workshop, then led the entire group around the Ô Cách market area in a single file.

After a round of exploration, artists had one minute to present their performance to the neighboring uncles, aunts, and kiosk vendors around Á. The second exercise, The coolie Card (Quân cửu vạn) by Toàn, had been sent to the participants beforehand, based on Yuan Hsiang’s interest in the heavy labor class and the Coolie card in Vietnamese traditional Tổ Tôm card game. Each artist was asked to carry an object. For the final exercise, Thuỳ Anh brought a box of Tràng Tiền ice cream. Each artist would perform an action using the ice cream from this box in a predetermined order. The following artist would have to work with the current state of the ice cream box left by the predecessor.
