#Program

On the occasion of Nguyễn Đức Huy’s first solo exhibition titled ‘Soon Time Will Come’, on behalf of artist Nguyễn Đức Huy and curator Linh Lê, Á would like to invite those who have followed and are interested in Huy’s artistic practice, to come to this group critique session to give Huy and Linh constructive criticisms to his debut exhibition.

Eight years ago, when both dropping out of school, Huy and Flinh talked to each other, not knowing when it would be their turn to realize their solo exhibitions. Looking directly into Flinh’s eyes, Huy said: ‘Soon time will come!’. The saying coincides with the spirit of Huy’s new series of works, now becoming the title of Huy’s first solo exhibition. The exhibition ‘Soon Time Will Come’ will take place from May 5 to May 21, 2023, with the companionship of curator Linh Le at A Space, a space that has also been accompanying the artist’s art practice since 2018.

Over the past 7 years, Huy has experimented with many media ranging from drawing, photography, video, installation, adopted many ways of working with his creations, has participated in many group exhibitions and film screenings. Moreover, Huy even tried his hands at different roles such as acting or illustrating, to get to know himself more deeply.

Love for the whip, hate it for the sweet, Á would like to invite you to take your time from 17.30 to 19.30 on May 6, 2023 to attend this group critique.

Yours,
Á.
