As Á Space enters its sixth year, we are delighted to announce that Hà Ninh, Châu Hoàng, Linh Lê, Đặng Thùy Anh and Vũ Đức Toàn will join Á Space’s Artistic Director Vân Đỗ in forming a new Curatorial Board. The board will convene for a one-year term, starting from January 2024, and will work closely with our Management Team of Hồng Anh (Operations Manager) and Linh Meow (Lead Designer), and be supported by Á Space’s Board of Directors Tuấn Mami and Rory Gill (Co-founders).
Hà Ninh, Châu Hoàng, Linh Lê, Đặng Thùy Anh and Vũ Đức Toàn are our long-time friends, collaborators, and colleagues who have taken on many different roles, participated in and initiated a range of programs and events with Á Space since its foundation in 2018. With a diversity of expertise and experience, the Members of the Curatorial Board will be integral to the building and expansion of Á Space’s core programs, as well as continuing to contribute to the wider artistic community in Hanoi and beyond, in many new and exciting ways.
Á Space’s continuing mission is to be a space for experimentation, a diverse and supportive community of practitioners, and a hyphen between critical discussions and risk-taking proposals.
